About the role
We are partnering with a renowned organisation, to secure the services of an experienced professional to perform the role of Drill Compliance Specialist. This assignment will cover a period of 7 months, on an 8:6 roster.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Ensure compliance with site specific OH&S policies, procedures, work instructions and reporting protocols.
  • Daily Field interactions
  • Monthly Audit Inspections
  • Auditing the daily inspections on a weekly basis
  • Ensure that all related business and industry wide incidents are addressed and discussed
  • Regular review of Site and Contractor procedures
  • Pre-mobilisation plant and equipment inspections
  • Major Hazard compliance and Critical Control Monitoring
  • Engaging Techs and Geos on drill rig and sampling basics, drill rig safety, environmental safety and responsibilities, field safety, working in remote areas, plus other drilling-related issues

    To be successful in this role, you will require the following work experience:
  • Previous fieldwork experience, in Pilbara preferably
  • Working with drill rigs and earthwork equipment.
  • Working in Isolated environments
  • Experienced in OHS and Mine Safety Legislation, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice

    Ideal candidates must also hold the following prerequisites:
  • Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety (or
  • equivalent)
  • Drilling Certification
  • 4WD Certificate
  • Current First Aid
  • Provide a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one
  • Provide a current Drivers Licence
