Our Client is an internationally diverse civil construction and engineering company that focuses on bringing advanced technologies and innovative solutions to their Clients and the broader communities.

We are currently recruiting to fill an exciting career opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Safety Coordinator.

With the project located near Texas along the NSW/QLD border, the successful candidate must be willing to travel.

This project will run for approximately 2 months with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Demonstrating your leadership experience on civil site works, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Project Management team in administering the WHS, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) project requirements as per the Antoun Accredited Systems
  • Preparation of reports and performance statistics as required by senior management.
  • Coordination of Health & Safety purchasing.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory of safety and other essential equipment is tracked and dispensed as required by the project team.
  • Coordination with the client on all HSEQ enquires including preparation for any external audits.
  • Assist with facilitation of onboarding of contractor personnel, plant and equipment to site as required.
  • Undertake site audits as per the project requirements including documenting findings and tracking any actions to completion.
  • Manage emergency communication process
  • Regular monitoring of relevant state and federal legislation that is relevant to the project requirements.


    To excel in this role, candidates will have:
  • (Desirable) A Diploma in WHS or equivalent in an occupational Health & Safety subject with two years' experience in a full time HSEQ position.

  • (Essential) Communicating effectively
  • (Essential) Ability to work in a remote work site on a full time basis
