Civil Labourers are currently required for major road works projects in Broken Hill, a town in the Far West Region of NSW, working for a NSW Government Agency who are leaders in efficient transport systems throughout NSW.

Those with Demonstrated experience in Civil construction, Maintenance projects and the ability to operate plant machinery will be held in high regard. 

This position will be based in Broken Hill NSW, working on a Monday to Friday basis (9 day fortnight). This role will involve working working away from home with accommodation and meals provided.

Immediate start is available for successful candidates. An attractive hourly pay rate of $39.41 p/hr is offered + super and additional overtime penalty rates for additional hours of work.

The Successful candidate should have:
  • Relevant OH&S Card (White Card)
  • WOF ticket - Workers on Foot Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Driver’s license with own reliable transport
  • Previous experience working on road projects
  • Previous plant operating experience; rollers, graders
Extra skills in the following are desirable but not essential:
  • HR truck licence
  • Experience operating power tools
  • Experience in traffic control
