Labourers and Road Workers required for major road works projects in Orange, working for a NSW Government Agency who are leaders in efficient systems throughout NSW.

Job Title: Road Worker
Location: Orange
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 12 Months
Pay Rate to candidate: $39.41 per hour + Super
Hours of work: 9 day fortnight
Submission Deadline: Tuesday 30 May COB


The Successful candidate should have:
  • Relevant OH&S Card (White Card)
  • Previous labouring experience
  • WOF ticket - Workers on Foot Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Be physically fit for labouring work required
  • Driver’s license with own reliable transport
  • HR truck and Traffic Control Tickets - Desirable
Tasks will vary daily but include:
  • Maintenance of established pavements and drainage systems.
  • Construction and maintenance of bridges.
  • The establishment and maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage.
  • The application of road marking materials and bituminous sealing materials.
  • The establishment and maintenance of traffic signals and driver aid devices.
