As the preferred supplier to Alcoa having worked with them as a trusted partner for over 60 years Chandler Macleod is excited to bring you this fantastic opportunity to join Alcoa’s Maintenance Team at their Pinjarra Refinery. Alcoa is a global industry leader in the production of bauxite, alumina and aluminium, a position enhanced by a portfolio of value-added cast products and select energy assets. As a Reliability Engineer you will apply your knowledge, principles and skills to provide technical support to contribute to the long term reliability and maintenance goals.

Key Accountabilities
 
 
  • Provide problem solving and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for plant failures
  • Provide advice on operations and maintenance activities.
  • Implementation and development of reliability and planning processes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders who maintain governance for Reliability Excellence.
  • Manage your day-to-day strategic workload and support to the fixed plant maintenance department.
  • Provide innovative solutions for short and long term asset management strategies
 
Skills & Qualifications
 
 
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree
  • 3+ years Heavy Industrial experience working as a Reliability Engineer within an Asset Management Team
  • Experience with bauxite mineral processing equipment will be highly regarded.
  • A team-orientation and high levels of self-motivation & autonomy
  • A commitment to health, safety and the environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, which have been instrumental in your achievements to date
