Opportunity available for an experienced HR/Recruitment Officer to join a supportive team which operates in a very fast paced environment within a Local Government Agency. This position is an initial 6 month contract with potential to be extended.

    Key Performance tasks:
  • Reporting to Coordinator - People & Culture Operations.
  • Provide dedicated support to the Talent Acquisition Associate with end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Coordinate the setup of roles in specialised recruitment software platforms liaising with the Talent Acquisition Associate on best practice outcomes.
  • Assist in managing the relationship between hiring Managers and the People & Culture team by coordinating correspondence and following up on required documentation, including formatting interview questions and file setup.
  • Provide specialist information and advice to customers.
  • Setting up employee profiles in a learning management system and coordinating the online onboarding process in specialised recruitment software platforms.
  • Assist with recruitment reporting and data analysis, liaising with third party providers on streamlining processes.
  • Provide assistance with business support for the recruitment function within the People and Culture team as required.

    Critical Skills and Experience Required
  • Certificate III Human Resources, Communications or Marketing, Customer Service, Business Administration or similar or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Drivers Licence
  • Working With Children's Check (WWCC) Clearance.
  • Vaccinated for COVID 19.
  • Strong written and professional verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
