Chandler Macleod is working with a leading organisation who currently have an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Coordinator for a temporary 6-month position.

The purpose of this position is to provide a range of recruitment co-ordination and administration services in support of the recruitment process, the recruitment team and hiring managers. Provide support across the business through the effective implementation of recruitment and related policies, processes and procedures.


As the recruitment Coordinator you will have proven skills and experience in the following:

  • Sound experience in the application of computer and business systems required for the role
  • Experience working in an administrative environment performing tasks to meet deadlines whilst maintaining and promoting confidentiality
  • Break information into components, patterns and relationship, probing for further information or a greater understanding
  • Computer-literate with demonstrated Microsoft Office software proficiency
  • Gains clear agreement and commitment from others through being an exceptional listener and communicator, who can write clearly, succinctly and correctly, avoiding complicated language
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and juggle a competing and fluctuating workload
  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with others
  • Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all recruitment correspondence and files are recorded and processed and respond to enquiries.
  • Review and approve electronic recruitment approval forms, ensuring accuracy and providing advice on the most appropriate method of filling the role.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure work processes and projects are completed to meet team deadlines
  • Coordinate the engagement of Workers through Recruitment Agencies ensuring consistency with Terms and Agreements to minimise risk and monitor the end dates of Workers ensuring Workers complete assignments when scheduled
  • Responsible for the development and publishing of advertisements to the whole of business ensuring accuracy of information and relevant communication mediums are selected
  • Continuously monitor and assess recruitment processes to identify efficiencies and effectiveness in process and recommend changes accordingly
  • Provide relevant data and support to stakeholders and assist in recruitment projects by facilitating activities as required
  • Coordinate the process to ensure relevant pre-employment checks are requested in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Review, research and source information and materials for distribution at careers events to ensure accuracy and consistency within the organisations branding and within agreed budgets
  • Process invoices in a prompt and accurate manner.
