We are currently seeking a highly motivated blue collar Recruitment Consultant to help us continue to provide excellent customer service to a portfolio of major clients. This role is based at the Chandler Macleod office in Altona with travel required across North / West areas of Melbourne.

Ideally, the successful candidate would come from a blue collar recruitment environment. You will have developed the ability to build instant rapport with employees and clients and have excellent administration, HR and customer service skills.

The Role

  • Recruit for blue collar positions for a major client
  • Performance management of casual workforce
  • Work autonomously on site
  • Empower a safe workforce
  • Sort through online resumes for suitable candidates
  • Book inductions and interviews for candidates
  • Conduct interviews and reference checks
  • Use our recruitment database and rosters to enter candidate information
  • Ensure all administration and compliance is accurate and up to date
  • Establish and build a relationship with a major client
  • Possess a comprehensive appreciation of workplace, health and safety practices
