Core job responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment specialist role responsible for the sourcing and attraction of candidates for a specified field
  • Work closely with our Account Managers to source and select best fit candidates for our key clients
  • Ensuring all aspects of the recruitment process comply with relevant employment legislation.
  • Increasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander talent attraction and retention within Chandler Macleod
  • Liaising with various local communities & companies to increase awareness and training of all new and possible candidates
  • High sales and marketing focus to build and network within the industry identifying and benchmarking yourself as a specialist in your field.


To be successful for this role you will be required to have the following:

  • Strong business development & networking attributes.
  • Excellent time management & strong work ethic
  • Strong MS Suite use & local community awareness
  • We are seeking outcome orientated high achievers who have a demonstrable ability to exceed set targets and KPIs.
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service success and drive to excel.
  • Blue collar recruitment experience within the mining sector
  • Strong communication skills, as well as high levels of time management and organisation will be paramount in these roles.
  • You will be proficient in the use of technology and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to manage your time efficiently is paramount, you will be a self starter with the ability to prioritise your workload and manage multiple tasks.
