Your New Role in Recruitment:
As a new Consultant to recruitment, you will be joining our business at an exciting time. Chandler Macleod has been Smashing goals since 1959 and hitting targets consistently despite challenging COVID restrictions. Each day you’ll be helping individuals to achieve their goals, candidates to get employed, companies to find the right people and connecting all the dots in-between. This is fast paced role where you’ll be thinking on your feet to come up with solutions. This role is not for the faint hearted as our product, people, can change their minds at any time – using your conversational skills you’ll help people from the start of the recruitment process to the end. Recruitment really is 20% skill and 80% attitude.
Things you’ll do in your new role:
• Provide exceptional services to clients and candidates through empowering conversations, taking a genuine interest in peoples motivations / aspirations, and matching them together. By helping others to hit their objectives you’ll be hitting your goals and targets.
• Managing existing client accounts and winning new business by adding value to companies by providing a service they can’t do themselves. Everyone shares responsibility for the sales and maximising client opportunity.
• Getting out and about to meet your clients and candidates, looking for opportunity to gain referrals and win future business.
• Sourcing candidates through multiple channels, Head hunting, effective advertising, referrals and being a go to expert in your field. (don’t worry you don’t need to know anything yet).
• Skill testing and using our ‘Bestfit’ assessments to help your candidates make great career decisions and your clients hire people who will ’fit’ them. Screening candidates, Interviewing, negotiating offers, placing candidates and all the bits in-between.
What you’ll bring to the role:
• A real people person, inquisitive in conversation and empathetic in nature
• Organised and able to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment. Thrive on a challenge and love solving problems, problems are an opportunity not a showstopper.
• A winning attitude and a genuine desire to create a rewarding career for yourself by achieving goals
• Strong communication skills, verbally and written. Computer literate, Experience using Microsoft Office products highly desirable but not a showstopper
