Our client is a national industry leader for operational excellence, community engagement and sustainability within the resources sector. They seek a consultative and experienced talent acquisition specialist to join them (either before or after Christmas) to support the existing resourcing team on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension at its conclusion.

About the Role

Working with hiring leaders up to vice-president level, you will provide end-to-end recruitment services right across the resourcing sector workforce. Due to current business demands, your immediate focus will be to support hiring leaders in sourcing qualified technical, engineering, corporate and commercial roles. Your daily scope of duties will include:

  • Developing talent acquisition strategies to meet specific role requirements
  • Executing recruitment sourcing tasks, such as advertising, market search and applicant screening
  • Influencing and coaching hiring leaders on recruitment best practice
  • Supporting interview panels by producing fit-for-purpose interview guides and hosting interviews (in person and via video technology
  • Ensuring all recruitment-related activities are performed in line with company policy, procedure and recruitment best practice


About You

  • To be successful in this role you will have the following key skills and experience:
  • End-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within a large commercial business
  • A proven track record partnering across the business landscape up to senior/vice president level
  • A consultative, business focused approach to quality recruitment outcomes
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience recruiting within larger business enterprises such as engineering, mining, oil and gas, infrastructure or utilities will be highly regarded.
