Recruitment Assistant needed to help with Administration support to Hiring Managers across the business for one of Australia's largest poultry producers.

Baiada is well known for its production of premium products including the much-loved Steggles and Lilydale free range brands.

Within their Livestock Division, an opportunity currently exists for a permanent full time Recruitment Assistant in Tamworth, for an immediate start.

The primary focus of this faced paced role will be to provide effective advice and administration support to Hiring Managers across the business through the end-to-end recruitment while ensuring compliance to policies, procedures and legislative requirements are met at all times.

Key Performance tasks:

  • Support, advise and coach hiring managers in relation to recruitment and selection
  • Act as the key point of contact for recruitment matters
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and available for all positions/vacancies
  • Maintain and update candidate records (manual and electronic)
  • Responsible for maintaining correct HR records filing
  • Carry out duties in a safe and appropriate manner to ensure that your actions do not put either yourself or others at risk of injury or harm.
  • Administration tasks as required

Critical Skills and Experience Required

  • Tertiary qualification in HR or similar qualification
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience or knowledge of HR and/or Recruitment processes
  • Strong written and professional verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly build and maintain positive professional relationships built on trust across all levels of the business
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and operate effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to provide professional input into all hiring decisions with various stakeholders.
