Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Quality and Reporting Officer on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

About the Role

The APS5 Quality and Reporting Officer (Labour Hire) is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex compliance activities and work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position.

The position is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing and updating compliance processes, SOPs and taskcards in line with changes to policies and coordinating system change requests.
  • Generating reports from the Case Management System for workload management, prioritisation and executive updates.
  • Undertaking analysis and reporting to identify issues and drive continuous business improvement, through the development of tools, resources and/or processes.
  • Preparing of briefing materials, correspondence, reports, and other products for the Minister, departmental executives, and other industry stakeholders
  • Gathering, understanding and prioritising business needs, in addition to producing innovative solutions to problems and driving project outcomes.
