Our client is seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced individual to join their team as a Quality Control Technician. In this role, you will report to the QC Supervisor and be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our client’s poultry food products.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant Quality Control experience in the food industry with a strong understanding of HACCP procedures and processes.
As our Quality Control Technician, you will need to be flexible with day and night shift work. You will be responsible for conducting hygiene checks, micro, and environmental swabs, ensuring compliance with OHS regulations, and adhering to product recall processes.

Duties & responsibilities:
  • Comply with OHS and procedures
  • Adhere to HACCP procedures and processes
  • Follow through on product recall processes
  • Action customer complaints
  • Assist with new product development
  • Conduct hygiene checks, micro, and environmental swabs
  • Product evaluations
  • Quality control checks on daily production
  • Temperature monitoring

Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a previous QC role
  • Excellent mathematical skills and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Punctual, reliable, honest, and proactive
  • High level of organization
  • Driver’s license and car

Requirements
  • Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship required
  • Available Mon-Sat, weekly
