Our client, a leading organisation in the mining industry that has operated for over 30 years, is looking to secure a Purchasing Assistant /Officer to cover a period of leave for 6 months.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Expediting of back orders
  • Educating internal stakeholders on procurement process and ensuring compliance to procedures
  • Ad hoc support to purchasing activities when required

To be considered for this role you must have experience in a similar role, either in a Purchasing /Procurement role or providing administration support within a procurement team.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

This role is a site-based role and it is expected that candidates will reside in and around Emerald.

Hours of work are 7am - 4pm Mon - Thurs and 7am - 3pm Fri.
