The Opportunity

Chandler Macleod is currently recruiting for an experienced Property Officer to join a leading Federal Government agency. This is an immediate start with a contract term of 12 months.

Job Title: APS5 Property Officer

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $53.63 per hour + Super

Location: Parramatta, NSW

The APS5 Property Officer (Labour Hire) will be responsible for a portfolio of our Client's office locations and will undertake activities and tasks under limited guidance from a Senior Property Officer in line with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. They will be required to independently perform procedural, administrative and operational tasks that support and contribute to our Client's objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

In this position you will be expected to:

  • Engage and monitor third party facilities providers for all preventative maintenance schedules and property repairs for their portfolio of NDIA locations.
  • Respond to property related enquiries and issues from staff members.
  • Assist with branch seating allocation activities.
  • Monitor levels of stationery and consumables within a portfolio of NDIA locations and ensure sufficient stocks are ordered and delivered to sites.
  • Develop and maintain carpark ballots.
  • Work collaboratively with other enabling services to ensure positive outcomes for staff.
  • Assist and support the NDIA Fleet team by acting as a Vehicle Control Officer where applicable.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will be a team player, highly organised and motivated with a demonstrated ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines. Further to this, to be considered for the role you will also need:

  • Knowledge of computer/software applications - Microsoft Office computer based work
  • The ability to access and use client records management system (CRM) and associated business applications
