Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS4 Project Support Officer on a contract for 3 months with potential extension 1 months.

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Registration and Business Modernisation, this position is responsible for assisting with the delivery of a project focusing on the review and rationalisation of the Australian General Shipping Register.

Major areas of Responsibility:

Under supervision, deliver the ship registration review which will include, but not be limited to, the following duties:

  • Record, process and action responses from registered owners;
  • Assist with the audit of ship registration files;
  • Prepare high quality correspondence to external stakeholders in relation to ship registration;
  • Undertake searches of the Register;
  • General data entry duties;
  • General administrative duties, as required to deliver the project and in support of the Shipping Registration Office;
  • Commit to the Agency Code of Conduct and Values.
