Chandler Macleod has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motived Project Supervisor. This role will report directly to Superintendent whilst closely engaging with the construction and project team. Success in this role will require the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This is a FIFO position based out of Perth on a 8/6 roster starting asap on a 6-month labour hire contract.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Provide practical feedback from an execution standpoint on contractors methodologies and TBRA's. Ideally this is done well before mobilisation during the planning phase to allow for amendments to be made and planned for.
  • Ensure that contractors safe systems of work are aligned with Company's policies and procedures and are being implemented. Provide information where shortfalls are identified audit and the implementation of new information/systems.
  • Ensure contractors itinerant classified plant is being captured as its mobilised to site and entered into the ICP mines record book.
  • Carry out on the job inspections, Witness hold points sign off relevant QAQC documentation.
  • Ensure contractor has all relevant revision drawings.
  • Modification and changed approved by company must be redlined and provide to PM's
  • Ensure contractor is working to current methodology, when changes arise ensure management of change
  • Ensure methodology is in line with best practice.
  • Prioritise SIMOPs between contractors or work fronts.
  • Liaise with Operations or shut teams to reduce or communicate interactions.
  • Monitor production against schedule and raise to project manager if a risk is identified. Look for efficiencies and implement.


Qualifications and skills required:

  • Significant demonstrable experience in supervising the installation of Crushing, Conveying and Rotating ore processing equipment
  • Recent employment history within an EPCM or Owners Team environment
  • Mechanical Fitter trade qualifications
  • Structural and piping installation experience
  • Experience in Project Completion and Handover Systems
  • Willingness to work night shift
