Position title: - Project / Training Co-Ordinator - Defence - Army - NSW
Contract Estimation Duration: 12Mths +

Essential Requirement - you must have a minimum of NV1 Clearance.

Purpose of this position:
 Candidates with a good grasp of verbal, visual, or audio-visual training suite production is highly desirable, specifically creative industries or commercial product creation would be beneficial.
 Candidates will be working to develop fictitious human actor profiles involving development, detection, or modification of information sets. Proven abilities in creative fields related to literary, visual, or audio-visual production/creation is highly desirable.
 Candidates with a sound understanding of Social / Human network analysis is favourable. This is not social media influencing, marketing or public relations, as these skills are largely irrelevant. Social / Human network analysis skills we are seeking are linked to sociological, political science research fields.
 Candidates with familiarity/understanding of VMware / Linux / HTML are favourable.

General Requirements:

  • Candidates will be required to be confident and convincing in the role of manager and representative for the Client's Operations Network. A strong presentation style is essential, as there will be a requirement to be both convincing and convinced when interacting with our client base.
    Candidates will need to have the ability to conduct rapid and targeted research to significant depth in diverse areas. This is essential.
  • Some experience/familiarity with AGILE working methodologies and cross-functional teams would be favourable.
  • Robustness of character and diverse experience in 'tactical and strategically focused' information operations will become key to this role. Exposure to/awareness of law enforcement or defence would therefore be favourable.
  • Excellent communication (especially written/visual) skills
  • Excellent visual design skills.
  • Experience in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and JavaScript.


    Location of Work / Travel
     The project is primarily based in (Sydney CBD), with a requirement for both on-site and offsite work. Project works core hours of 0800h - 1600h; however, flexible working arrangements are offered outside periods of designated capstone project activities.
     The project also provides support to multiple military training activities, across Australia and Internationally. The successful candidate would need to be prepared to undertake travel during key periods of major exercises for the Defence Forces. All travel is fully funded by the project, including accommodation, flights, provision of hire cars and allowances.
     Current support commitments for the project forecast travel for up to 50 days per annum for the position. An ability to undertake travel for up to two week blocks is Highly Desirable.
