Our client is seeking to engage a Project/Contracts Administrator on a Perm, Full- time contract.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate currently works in the construction industry as a Project/Contracts Administrator with 3+ years’ experience in providing administrative support and coordination to assist the Project Manager manage all aspects of commercial building projects to a high standard achieving safe construction, excellent quality and profitable return.
This role will provide opportunities for you to develop the skills and abilities to become a Project Manager.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • On-site project and contracts administration experience within the construction industry.
  • Professionalism, respect and integrity toward your clients, suppliers, contractors, and staff with an ability to work and communicate with different personality types.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • The ability to learn and adopt good operational risk management practices for the project.
  • WHS Construction Induction Card and Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
  • Computer skills using programs such as MS Project, and MS Office Suite and a willingness to learn specific cost control and estimating software programs.
  • Currently studying or completed a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar, will be highly regarded.
