Position title: Project Planner / Scheduler - Electrical Assets
Contract Estimation Duration: Perm - Immediate Start
Company Type / Size: Commercial - Tier 1
Location: Sydney CBD - WFH
Salary / Rate: $70-$90K - (DOE - Neg)
Purpose of this position:
The successful Scheduler will plan and schedule all preventative, corrective and fault maintenance works within required date periods. Monitor and report to scheduling team leader on the progress and performance of all work and provide indication to program health.
General Requirements:

  • Responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of project, programme, and interface schedules.
  • Being responsible for the schedule quality, data accuracy, and consistent formatting.
  • Being accountable for timely and accurate schedule reporting and schedule data outputs.
  • Offering input and advice based on your experience in an advisory capacity to the project managers.
  • Assisting the project managers and design discipline leads on the resource planning and forecasting to underpin the forecast cost build-up.
  • Integrate deliverable Physical % Complete metrics with schedule Duration % Complete and provide analysis of the "project health" in achieving the timely completion of deliverables within the allocated schedule duration and budgeted cost.
  • Being the first checkpoint to identify schedule risks, issues, or opportunities; working with the project managers to mitigate risks/issues or capitalise opportunities.
  • Balancing the needs of the project team with the needs of the project controls functions, recognising that quality, consistency and accuracy in scheduling is paramount.
  • Ensuring the schedules, you are responsible for enable Critical Path Methodology analysis and are of a robustness suitable for performing Schedule Risk Analysis using in house package.
  • Facilitating Schedule Risk Analysis workshops with the project team.

    Technical Scope:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • P6 advanced skills.
  • You will have 3-5 years' experience as a Planner/Scheduler within the design and construction industry, sectors of focus include electrical / water, rail, roads, and built environment.
  • Experience in a project environment providing quality technical knowledge and judgement and ability to lead medium size projects.
  • Demonstrating a passion for continual learning and promote the use of global network systems to teams.
