An exciting opportunity now exists with one of our Local Government clients for an experienced and dynamic Project Officer-People and Culture based in the beautiful Clarence Valley.

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, related discipline or equivalent relevant industry and a current drivers licence is essential to ensure your success in this role.

- You will be responsible for planning, directing, and implementing several People and Culture projects that will focus on building the organisation's capability in achieving best practice human resource practices, aligned with achieving strategic goals.
- The project nature of this position allows focusing on the development and delivery of key strategies linking to the 'my employee journey' framework and the Workforce Management Plan.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met.
- Contribute to and implement a range of HR projects, plans, tools, processes, and systems to respond to future challenges and ensure legislative and regulatory compliance and standards.
