The Opportunity
Chandler Macleod is looking to engage a Project Officer on a contract term that is due to end on the 31/03/2023. This role will be based in Alexandra with flexible working arrangements on offer. (2 days from home and 3 in the office).

Job Specification
In this position, you will be required to perform but are not limited to the following tasks:
  • Develop and manage service specifications, review schedules and waste bin sizes and frequency against service module;
  • Ensure service provider compliance with collection process for WHS compliance;
  • Liaise with FAC's facilities for accuracy of collection points and bin allocations;
  • Understand and review Super blocks for waste volume to ensure correct rates are being applied to each rateable property;
  • Where required, encourage separation of Commercial and Domestic waste streams;
  • Ongoing review of adequacy of bin room waste storage areas and service frequency;
  • Ongoing review of high bin replacement customers to understand and rectify issues;
  • Ongoing liaison with building managers on all "waste type" collection issues;
  • Prepare project briefs, service plans, procedures and other documents to support service briefs;
  • Provide quality customer service to internal staff and other stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner;

About You
To be successful in this position, you will need to have experience in the following:
  • Demonstrated experience in managing, developing, implementing and monitoring complex service specifications, projects relating to the delivery of waste and/or environmental management standards.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills and the ability to provide clear advice and reports, interact with a broad range of senior staff, technical specialists, community members and other stakeholders.
  • Must hold a current NSW Driver's license (Class C)
