Our client is a leading civil construction company working with top tier mining clients across Western Australia.

Currently they are seeking Project Manager - Mining & Civil to join the growing team and provide expert advice to their clients in various areas.

Reporting into the General Manger Mining Services you will be instrumental in ensuring collaboration across the teams to ensure zero harm targets are met, together with fostering client relationships.

You will have a clear focus on people and innovation and demonstrate a commitment to developing a high performing team.

Accountabilities include, however are not limited to:
  • HSE responsibilities in collaboration with the HSE Manager
  • Encourage employee engagement by ensuring the teams have knowledge, skills and competencies
  • Maintain a focus on operational performance and commercial outcomes
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Develop and manage on-site relationships with internal and external stakeholders and client representatives
  • Management of the project, policies and procedures
About you:

You will bring a previous experience in mining and the resources sector together with excellent communication and presentation skills. In addition, we are seeking the following:
  • Tertiary qualification in Mining or Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrated positive safety leadership
  • Extensive experience in a similar role in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and people management skills
  • Strong computer literacy including M/S Office
  • Knowledge and experience in risk management
