Our client in Government sector space seeks a number of a Senior Project Managers to fulfil the needs of the departments for their Parramatta office.

The Role

Specifically, the following project management services during the project phases:

  • Liaison with stakeholders as required including consultation, approvals and signoffs;
  • Experienced in managing the scoping and engagement of consultants such as QS, Planner, BCA/PCA and structural engineer, services engineers, etc;
  • Experienced in management of the project consultants including design and engineering, planning, QS and other specialist consultants to achieve client objectives;
  • Experienced in management of the construction contract as the Principal's representative.
  • Experienced in management of claims and processing payments in the PWA SAP system for the Contractor.
  • Experienced in management of the asset commissioning where relevant, handover and defects liability period.

    Contract administration: assessing contract adjustments (cost & time), reviewing payment claims, resolving ambiguities or errors in documents, managing scope changes etc
  • Inspecting works / site surveillance (quality, conformance, safety)
  • Managing project finances: billing, monitoring & forecasting cashflow, expenditure, revenue
  • Reporting: ext - clients, int - management incl project reviews, project progress
  • scheduled reviews of team members projects and project reporting

As the Engineer Manager you will be required to lead the delivery of one or more assigned infrastructure projects ranging in medium to high in size and complexity or contributes to the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects with medium-to high complexity. As a team leader, the Project Manager directs other Project Managers on the delivery of programs of low to medium complexity and the application of best practice project management principles in order that time cost, quality, safety and environment targets and corporate and region expectations and requirements are met.
