Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Project Manager on a contract for 10 months.

Position Overview

National Capital Works Management

The national capital works team manages the Property Operations and Corporate Support Branch Capital budget to deliver new buildings, upgrades and refurbishments of non-customer facing sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing project life cycle activities (scope, quality, risk, time , budget etc.)
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholder groups to establish project requirements and interpret needs, objectives and milestones
  • Review specialist proposals, building specifications, architectural plans etc.
  • Development of key project management documentation and reporting requirements
  • Liaise with key stakeholder groups and develop a reliable network to deliver key agreed project outcomes in a timely, efficient and transparent manner
  • Ensure the program is scoped, procured and delivered in accordance with relevant legislative requirements and Commonwealth frameworks such as the PGPA, Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), governance and risk management
  • Coordinate project resources, contractors and consultants
  • Responsible for monitoring project budgets, duration, quality, risk etc
