Our client is seeking to engage a Project Manager on a contract for 6 months.

Position Overview

In preparation for completion of the sale process, several workstreams have been formed to manage the transition. Within Finance, these workstreams include ledger migration, transition of regulatory reporting, tax, management reporting and treasury. New role has been created to help to manage overall project governance and delivery. Expected duration is planned until 3 months past completion date. The transaction is currently expected to close by end of March (so the term of the role is planned until June). Support the management of overall project governance and delivery. The role will be based in Sydney, reporting to Regional Office based in Singapore, supporting the local team in Australia.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall control/governance of Finance separation activities.
  • Coordinate meetings and workshops, record meetings.
  • Develop task trackers, progress reports/dashboards. Highlight key risks to task delivery.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of the project progress.
  • Support Finance workstream leads with project tracking, communicate key dependencies across the group, proactively follow up on outstanding items.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication on project status / risks to Program SteerCo, Regional and Local senior management.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior Project management experience within Finance / Banking
  • Prior experience with business separation projects (Desirable)
  • Project management tools
  • Microsoft Powerpoint/Excel
  • Effective communication
  • Ability to work in high pace, multicultural environment
