We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for an exciting opportunity (4 months contract with potential for extension) with our client a known global brand in the construction industry.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects within the company achieving optimum results whilst maintaining a Zero Harm environment, driving cost improvements and quality management.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage operational budgets and review financial information
- Oversee and control the execution of all tasks and projects in branch/department
- Planning and controlling day to day activities
- Apply correct policy/procedures and practices (procurement, financial, ZH, People) etc.
- Identify hazards and take corrective action to ensure that the organisation meets legislative requirements and provides a safe working environment for its employees.
- Interpret policy and procedures and ensure the implementation of all relevant health and safety legislation.
- Implement controls to ensure the achievement of quality standards
- Express, engage and influence outcomes through high levels of communication and teamwork
- Deliver training and instruction in the use and implementation of Quality systems
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure efficient use of resources, subcontractors, plant, equipment, and materials
- Provide support to all crew members addressing any issues in a professional and timely manner, maintaining job satisfaction and high moral
- Develop a sound understanding of our customers, their key drivers and needs
- Develop Project Management Plans and Subordinate management plans
- Proven background in the delivery of civil projects
- Capability gained in a business / project management role at similar level
- Ability to proactively build relationships with key stakeholders
Education & Qualifications
- Graduate qualification in Engineering/Business Management
- Related discipline experience in Project Management, Civil Engineering or Asset Management
