Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an EL1 Project Implementation Manager on a contract for 8 months.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The VET Student Loans Branch works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support process improvement, IT projects and align branch business improvement initiatives with strategic programs within the department. The positions are fast paced and varied and will require a high degree of initiative and leadership.

  • Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Work closely with the business and stakeholders to manage and drive identified projects
  • Manage a Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Engage with a range of stakeholders to ensure PMO will deliver against requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in managing a PMO, preferably related to ICT initiatives
  • Expert facilitation and stakeholder management skills to bring a diverse view to inform business requirements and defining the scope of projects in a collaborative and inclusive approach
  • PRINCE2 practitioner or similar certifications
  • Practical experience of working within SAFe Agile solution delivery environment.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a high pace, dynamic environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project management or Business Administration.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
