About the role
We are partnering one of Australia's leading resources companies, is seeking to engage a site-based (Electrical) Project Engineer to work on electrical projects in the HV and Power portfolio based in the WA Pilbara. The role will based at the office facility in Newman; defined as construction management role taking vendor designs and achieving the pre-mobilisation deliverables to set the site based BHP supervision team up for success. This includes monitoring and controlling quality along with project baselines directly liaising with our design and construction vendors.

Key duties as listed

  • Construction verification of project designs supported by owners team and vendor engineering groups
  • Facilitate and manage all pre-mobilisation deliverables
  • Provide QA/QC
  • Maintain project cost, schedule, quality and safety baselines and report status to the Project Manager
  • Facilitate and mange site works risk assessments
  • Complete BHP type templates, work within our operating system and typical project admin
  • Work and coordinate with site operations and other stakeholder groups for permit issue and all facets of delivery


The candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in electrical supervision or project planning/delivery or project management
  • MUST HAVE prior on-site project engineering experience in the WA Resources sector
  • Competence computing using MS word, Excel etc conduct and participate in Webex (virtual) meetings and utilisation of other BHP software (training provided)
  • Provision of a current Drivers License and Australian working rights
