We are currently recruiting for a Project Director (Infrastructure Planning) for our client, a NSW Government agency, on an initial 12 month contract to be based in Sydney CBD and with the flexibility of WFH. The daily rate is up to $1100 per day including super. This is a construction related role so candidates with architectural, development management or project management experience of the planning phase of commercial buildings projects over $20m would be desirable.

The Role:

The Project Director will manage projects and project teams to deliver projects throughout business case development. This will include a master plan, concept plan and a cost plan.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee the performance and management of contracted service providers
  • Responsible for completing all Consultant Performance Reports (CPRs)
  • Evaluate the performance of projects in terms of cost, time and quality within a risk management framework
  • Manage, facilitate and coordinate tender evaluation meetings as required

Selection criteria
  • Relevant tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or similar is essential
  • Architectural, Development Management or Project Management experience of the planning phase of commercial building projects over $20m
  • Knowledge of NSW Government Procurement and development of business cases through Treasury would be desirable
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Full working rights in Australia
