Our client, a large government department, requires a Project Coordinator to join on a contract until August 2021, with the potential for extension. This role will be based in Parramatta and includes the option to work from home. The rate of pay is $46.45 per hour + Superannuation.

The Project Coordinator will undertake a variety of high-volume administrative tasks to assist with the implementation & management of the Delivery Division's quality system, governance, reporting, auditing, and compliance.

The role requires liaison with the various business units within the Delivery Division, internal and external stakeholders and share information through teams and individuals where relevant to align strategies.

Key Duties:

  • Undertake high-volume administrative tasks focusing on business unit priorities: Identify, collate, share and document relevant information/updates/version control including uploading, and archiving
  • Stakeholder liaison - internal and external
  • Assist with maintaining and reviewing requirements in QMS: standardisation of QMS documents/template improvements, with process owners in line with policy, legislative, reporting, compliance and organizational changes & provide support in the yearly Audit program
  • Contribute to providing informed advice, reports, commentary and solutions on system and process issues to key stakeholders

Key Requirements:

  • High level administration skills to assist with filing, record keeping, maintenance, document management information/data capture and collation, analysis, information presentation and reporting
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in application of Quality Management System (QMS) and processes
  • Proactive attitude, adaptable, able to take direction and support team to achieve project outcomes
  • Strong written, oral and verbal communication skills
  • Strong soft skills, strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills and experience
  • IT skills: Adobe Professional, Microsoft software including Visio, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Desirable Requirements:

  • Six sigma certified
  • TRIM experience
  • Residential construction experience
  • Legislative/audit background
  • Understanding of NSW government compliance, reporting, cabinet, legislative and regulatory requirements
