Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Project Co-Ordinators on a contract for 6 months with potential extension.
About the Role:
The SDO is a leader in providing services under the Whole-of-Government Shared Services Program. The SDO presents a unique opportunity to be involved in developing innovative service delivery arrangements, with an approach to collaboration and sharing of resources that has the potential to add value to not only for existing customers but to set the scene for new ways of working across the APS. We are committed to consistently improving service standards through innovation, systems and process enhancements.
The Project Delivery Office (PDO) within the Service Delivery Office (SDO) requires two attentive and organised Project Coordinators to assist the Project Managers to facilitate the completion of activities by planning and scheduling resources and tasks. These tasks include project plans, schedules, project time sheeting, budgets and expenditures, organising and participating in stakeholders meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner
Position Requirements:
- Previous project planning and team management experience.
- Good knowledge and handling of project management methodology and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource management.
- A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work autonomously, and to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
- Working with the Project Managers, and project resources to ensure that goals are met.
- Preparing and reviewing submissions of weekly status reports.
- Sharing relevant documentation and reports with project teams.
- Perform general office duties, and other administration duties as required.
