Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Project and Program Management and Support on a contract for 12 months with a possible six (6) plus six (6) month options to extend.

Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Project and Program Management and Support on a contract for 12 months with a possible six (6) plus six (6) month options to extend.
Position Overview
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare high quality and timely correspondence, briefs, reports and artefacts as requested
- Provide advice on projects/programs and proactively monitor their progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate
- Provide technical and operational support to project/program teams and undertake technical project and operational roles
- Undertake project/program health checks, and prepare operational and governance reports
- Develop and maintain the projects schedule, budget, risk and issue registers and other project related tools and artefacts in line with the Departments Project Governance guidelines
- Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with stakeholders, including contract suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Mentoring and guiding project/program team
- Identify process improvements to support efficient delivery of the project/program
- Demonstrated experience and proven delivery in at least one of the above specified services and tasks
- Ability to manage difficult stakeholder relationships and display resilience, liaise widely and develop productive working relationships
- An ability to communicate, both verbally and written, in an accurate concise and clear way for the receiving audience
- Knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge of departmental systems and processes
- Minimum Baseline security clearance prior to commencement
