Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Project Support Officer on a contract for 10 months with potential extension.

Position Overview

The Agency requires 1x APS4 (or equivalent) Contractor Placement Staff to provide procurement and contract capability. Engaged personnel will:

  • Actively assist in the development and implementation of the Agency's procurement and contracting service
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external clients, service providers and other stakeholders
  • Prepare a range of material, including procurement documentation, contracts, work orders and other corporate documentation as required
  • Escalate issues, keep informed, receive instructions.
  • Provide regular updates on issues and priorities.
  • Manage request assignment and prioritisation

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience working within a complex business service delivery environment.
  • Well-developed analytical, research skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Skills in using a range of software products.
  • Organisational and project planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing tasks.
  • Ability to work autonomously
