Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS4 Program Support Officer on a contract for 12 Months.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responding to HTS providers and departmental contract managers inquiries about the Relocation Assistance to take up short term agricultural work
  • Supporting various SWP program management duties such as answering calls, performing administration and assisting with the development of guidance material.
  • Drafting communication materials, website updates and inquiries and ministerial responses
  • Manage data entry for updates provided by SWP Approved Employers on the location of the seasonal workers in Australia
  • Provide administrative support and secretariat to the branch when required.
  • Supporting compliance of SWP employers with the deed and conducting targeted assurance activities.
  • Supporting enhancements and data cleansing for the SWP Online business system to improve reporting, reduce program inefficiency and promote deed compliance.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and to work across boundaries to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to articulate clear and accurate advice to stakeholders including service providers, staff, colleagues and managers.
  • Good data analysis skills and attention to detail (Excel and or Qlik skills would be advantageous).
  • Demonstrated Initiative and flexibility with a willingness to contribute to the work of the Delivery and Employer Engagement Division and the department more broadly.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and flexibly in a team environment.
