Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a APS5-6 Program Officer on a contract for 7 months with potential extension 6 months.

About the Role:

Program officer will primarily help administer Boosting Female Founders mentoring program and venture capital team core business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties will include:

  • managing contracts, invoices and reports from mentoring engagements;
  • tracking progress of engagements and monitoring compliance;
  • responding to email and verbal enquiries from mentees and mentors;
  • contributing to communication activities to promote the program;
  • helping to document and improve program delivery processes and systems; and
  • supporting delivery of the broader work of the venture capital team as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • background in program delivery/ client service in a fast-paced environment;
  • attention to detail;
  • good written and verbal communication skills;
  • team focused;
  • Microsoft Excel or Access skills;
  • able to quickly build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and
  • adapt well in a changing environment.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
