Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a EL2 Program Manager on a contract for 4 months with potential extension.

Role Description:

This role is for an EL2-equivalent experienced Program Manager who will report to the Branch Head, National Location Information. The Program Manager will work in close partnership with Executives, Directors and project managers to manage the multi-stream program and coordinate cross-program collaborative activities.

The Program Manager will meet the following skills sets:

A) Management of the Program Management Office and provision of the full gamut of program management functions, including:

  • program governance, including reporting
  • stakeholder management,
  • risk and issue management
  • procurement and contracting
  • quality assurance
  • budget tracking, and
  • oversight of secretariat services.

B) Provision of key outputs including:

  • Progress reports for all aspects of the program
  • Integrated master schedule for the program, including subordinate project schedules
  • Integrated master budget and burn down reports for contracts upon agreed intervals
  • Integrated Risk Matrix and Management plans

C) Specific work packages required early in the contract include:

  • Supporting 1 SES governance board (including planning, conduct, secretarial, reporting)
  • Support 1 cross-divisional operations committee (including planning, conduct, secretarial, reporting)
  • Project management services led by APS or contracted project managers

D) Experience in a science or technical agency is desirable.
