Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Program Manager on a contract for 6 months with potential extension of 6 Months

Position Overview

Our Client has a requirement for a Program Manager (hereinafter the 'contractor') with development and/or gender programming experience to support the Gender Equality Branch (GEB) to advance a range of government priorities through aid program implementation and oversight.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • aid program management relevant to Women, Peace and Security, including timely monitoring and reporting on implementation, budget monitoring and record keeping
  • strategic management of aid programs, including leading on new designs, analysis of gaps and opportunities, pipeline planning, and contract management and procurement
  • support with key events and advocacy opportunities to profile Women, Peace and Security Agenda and relevant programs
  • stakeholder management and consultation
  • support negotiations with UN Women in the development of a strategic partnership framework
  • contribute to the work of GEB, including policy development, briefing and correspondence.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a NV1 security clearance.
