One of our clients, a well-known entity in the Western Australian Mining Industry, is seeking the services of an Experienced Production Technician to join the Chandler Macleod Team on their Site.

Responsibilities include:

As the successful applicant you will possesses the following:

  • An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development
  • Contribute to the achievement of production goals through the operation of fixed plant equipment, such as car dumpers, ship loaders, reclaimers, stackers, sample stations and general yard duties.
  • Build relationships across functions to support production and contribute to a positive working environment
  • Identify, report and rectify hazards across Finucane Island
  • Conduct safety critical plant inspections to a high level
  • Develop and contribute to quality, task-based risk assessments
  • Participate in field leadership activities
  • Enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds
    Skills and Experience.
  • A proven track record of safe work practices in a high risk environment
  • Current full West Australian "C" class motor vehicle license or current equivalent Australian State motor vehicle license
  • Proven track record of hazard identification and resolution
  • A motivated problem solver who is dedicated to continuously improving their work environment
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast moving team environment, sometimes harsh conditions
  • Sound time management skills
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a fixed plant processing role /or similar bulk handling plant experience will be considered
  • Ability to obtain WA maritime security clearance (MSIC)
  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
  • A demonstrated, proactive approach towards ensuring the safety of yourself and others is a mandatory requirement for any role with Chandler Macleod. Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity, especially when working alongside others, will be highly regarded.
