Production Planner
Tues - Sat

Reporting to the Site Manager the position of Production Planner is primarily responsible for the supply of the correct number and size of birds into the primary processing sections of the production line to ensure there is sufficient product to meet customers' orders. The position is also to ensure, through proper planning that all orders are produced in full and the necessary persons are informed of any shortages or add-ons.

Objectives of the role:

  • To ensure supply of a superior product
  • To plan ahead ensuring adequate supply of product is available
  • To liaise with all parties to ensure communication lines remain open.

    Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in production planning
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Intermediate computer skills, in particular Excel
  • Ability to achieve production targets
  • Excellent planning skills, particularly in relation to control of a large workforce and product flow
  • Well-developed problem solving skills and ability to make quick and correct decisions
  • Knowledge of quality systems, HACCP procedures and understanding of how day to day activities could impact the environment
  • Must be a permanent resident of Australia or Australian Citizen
