Our Client located in Dudley Park are a successful FMCG production site who are currently looking for a Production Engineer to join their maintenance team.

Position objectives

  • To create, implement, maintain and audit the maintenance program.
  • To coordinate internal and external preventative maintenance program.
  • To be part of the internal audit team.
  • To ensure all aspects of the business have up to date procedures (SOPs).
  • Apply Good Manufacturing Practice through all processes.

  • Optimize performance of all machinery
  • Support changeovers of all machinery and improvement in changeover time
  • Undertake 'hands-on' trouble shooting of production and machinery when needed
  • Complete R&D production trials as required
  • Validate processing specifications and products
  • Analyse production data and complete processing specifications
  • To coordinate all external preventive maintenance, ensuring excellent performance and performs economically.
  • To assist in assessing and improving internal audits
  • To adhere to departmental KPIs.
  • In combination with production drive and implement continuous improvement programs including quality and labour efficiency

    Essential knowledge & experience
  • Have a minimum of 3-year experience in the food industry.
  • Have thorough understanding of GMP, WHS and HACCP.
  • Have experience working in fast paced team environments and communicate well within it.
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and is self-motivated

    Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
