Position title: Product Specialist -Traffic Management

Contract Estimation Duration: Permanent - Immediate Start
Company Type / Size: National - Commercial - Established Company
Location: Alexandria / WFH / Sydney - NSW
Salary / Rate: $90k - $110k + super+ vehicle + opportunity to earn 25% on top of salary.
Generous base salary.
Quarterly Sales incentive / commission program.
Tools of the trade including a fully maintained vehicle.
Purpose of this position:
This position plays a key role in supporting our Client's Customers, Sales and Operational teams with technical product knowledge based in Sydney covering the NSW /ACT region. The Client provides a range of end to end solutions and the Project Management to support the temporary works associated with design, installation, site support for our complete range of traffic products and services.

General Requirements:

  • Supporting internal teams and customers to make informed decisions regarding civil & engineering traffic management project needs
  • Provide Technical support in the Engineering and Construction market sectors
  • Knowledge of Traffic Management related products for temporary applications preferred
  • Local Traffic Authority regulation knowledge highly desirable
  • Work with the local sales team to drive product awareness and technical product expertise to existing and new customers.
  • Develop key relationships with Civil and Construction based customers to develop a strong pipeline
  • Build and maintain key relationships with road authorities and OEM's
  • Promote the Client's product range and capability to Industry experts - Consulting Engineers & Industry Associations
  • Lead our uncompromising Safety-First culture throughout the organisation and customer relationships
  • Ideally be degree qualified, preferably in the Civil Engineering
  • Experience in technical solution selling and problem solving supporting Civil and Construction based customers.
  • Proven success in prospecting for growth from existing and potential customers.
  • Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Presentation skills with the ability to deliver product training to internal and external customers and Consulting Engineers.
  • Analytical skills to identify product performance
  • A high degree of commercial acumen
