Our client is seeking to engage a Market and Optimisation Manager on a contract for 9 months.

Position Overview

It provides clients with timely, accurate information and dynamic, web-based tools to effectively manage their securities portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chain around the world. Combined with a worldwide network of dedicated and experienced transaction services professionals, our client is well-suited to serve clients anywhere they do business.

This is a high profile role, reporting to Head of Core Cash, with a core responsibility for delivering on Strategic Projects within the payables and receivables product portfolio for both Australia & New Zealand.

Within this role, there will be end to end ownership for the delivery, successful completion of a key business migration. You will work closely with local stakeholders including but not limited to Operations, Technology, Payment Industry bodies, Legal, Compliance and Regional / Global product and compliance colleagues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • End to end Project Management of key strategic projects
  • Drafting of Business Requirement Documents
  • Completion of New Product Approval requirements including presenting and obtaining approvals from all business and control stakeholders
  • Creation of Product Documentation related to any New or amended Products
  • Deep knowledge of the local payment landscape, understanding competitor offerings and identify opportunities for product differentiation
  • Build strong working relationships with key internal clients and stakeholders

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years in Financial Services
  • In-depth knowledge of Payables and Receivables products, industry and target clients
  • Strong marketing and selling skills & customer service orientation
  • Experience in a large, multi-national financial services firm and matrix organizational structure preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership success
  • Strong risk mindset
  • Project Management background
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Economics or other commercial disciplines
  • Be a proactive self-starter who can meet the demands of this hands-on role;
  • Good understanding of industry legislative and compliance regime
  • Have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
  • have the ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams;
  • Have a good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling large projects of work involving numerous concurrent streams
