Our client is currently seeking a Procurement Compliance Specialist temp to commence ASAP. Initially working from home, the role is generally based in Blackburn. The main responsibility of this role will be to implement reforms to our client's procurement environment to ensure compliance with policies and other legislative requirements.

Dates: ASAP from 17 September to 16 June 22 (approx. 9 months)
Days/Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Working from home/Blackburn office location once restriction limits lift

Key duties include:

  • Updating procurement documentation suite to embed policy requirements as required, including guidance, templates and tools.
  • Preparing a procurement compliance education program to raise awareness of responsibilities under new procurement framework.
  • Implementing a communication strategy for our client regarding changes to our client's procurement framework including updates to intranet as required.
  • Developing enhanced reporting for procurement compliance within the business


Key requirements/skills include:

  • Experience in contemporary procurement frameworks and compliance (Victorian Government)
  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement (desired)
  • Stakeholder management
  • Exemplary communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong capability in Microsoft Office suite of applications / VendorPanel (desirable)
  • Ability to contribute to and be part of a high performing team
  • Agility & flexibility to work in a high volume, dynamic environment
  • Fast learner with initiative
