The Procurement Programme Manager will be responsible for the full procurement process from approaching the market to awarding the contract.

About the role:

  • Establishing a programme with sub projects to deliver linked services
  • Working with stakeholders to establish boundaries and confirm requirements for programmes
  • Develop a programme plan and schedule
  • Develop all procurement documentation including contracts, tenders, plans etc
  • Preparation of decision papers and project reports
  • Develop draft contract schedules and contract negotiation plans
  • Prepare budget information and implementation plan

About you:

  • You will have a tertiary qualification in project or contract management and procurement or extensive experience in this field
  • You will have previous experience working with government policies in relation to procurement
  • You will have previous leadership and supervisory experience - including delegation, motivation and development of the team
  • You will have excellent communication skills, able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • You will have excellent negotiation skills
  • You will have strong planning and time management skills
  • You will have a high attention to detail, and work analytically
