Procurement Coordinator needed to join a leading organisation for a period of 3 months, covering a long term leave period.

Reporting into the Procurement Specialist, the Procurement Coordinator will provide support with transactional procurement activities within the sourcing team. Activities will include:

  • Supports operations and escalations from all transactional activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Provides support in works with suppliers in identification and resolution of potential issues/discrepancies related to transactional procurement and escalating where necessary
  • Keeps effective and open communication between procurement and its internal customers and provides support to keeps internal stakeholders informed of issues or potential issues with purchases made.
  • Maintains accurate database of suppliers, execution dates and key stakeholders.
  • Works as a team with Contracts Management and Supplier Management in overall category strategy delivery.

To be considered for this role you must have experience in a similar role, where you have supported a procurement team. You will have extensive knowledge of procurement processes, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and experience with SAP or a similar size ERP system.

This position is covering a long term leave period and is initially offered for a period of 3 months.
