About the Position:

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team driving integrated, adaptive, innovative, and sustainable sewage treatment solutions and services for the City of Gold Coast. You will be responsible for short and long-term strategic planning, process engineering support, and resource quality of the City's four sewage treatment plants. Be at the forefront of new treatment technology and innovative solutions for the City. You will be involved in a variety of innovative projects and will play a key role in helping the city achieve its vision of managing resources for a sustainable future.

About You:

You are a goal focussed engineer with the ability to self-manage and deliver results in a dynamic, demanding, and fast-paced environment. You will be a motivated, positive, quality focussed team player with the ability to hold your own and support others when required to meet deadlines. You will be looking to be involved in, and actively contribute to, a range of exciting and varied projects, taking ownership of your role.

  • A degree in Engineering, specifically Process would be highly regarded
  • 10-15 years of experience in a similar role
  • Direct Involvement in Innovative STP/biosolids/bioresources planning
  • Previous experience in STP planning and Process Optimisation
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage a range of diverse tasks, establish work priorities, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
