The Role:
The job involves carrying out engineering, construction and maintenance tasks to achieve the following goals at plant locations:

  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure a sound, secure workplace that conforms fully to all environmental laws and regulations.
  • Supervise Electricians and Electrical Contractors on-site to carry out works to required standard
  • Ensure that all plant wastes are minimised and controlled.
  • Ensure that all plant and equipment can be operated at maximum efficiency.
  • Carry out necessary capital tasks to improve the operation and/or increase the production rates. Work to bring these projects in on time and within agreed cost budgets.
  • Manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously and provide Electrical expertise in-house

    About you:
  • You will hold a degree qualification in Electrical or Process Engineering
  • Previous Electrical Trades background and Electrical Trades Certificate
  • You have worked in Heavy Industry or Manufacturing or Industrial background with Electrical Projects experience.
  • You demonstrate strong Workplace Health and Safety procedures, principles and knowledge.
  • You are a champion communicator with the ability to share clear and accurate information to many stakeholder groups.
