Our client is located in Oakleigh and specialize in Flexographic printing and packaging. Most of the advertising you see in all retail stores are printed and branded with the expertise of our client.

Shifts are Monday to Friday.
Dayshift - 6am - 2pm
Payrates from $32 per hour

The Print Assistants will be responsible for:

  • Assist with tasks on the Printing Press such as changing film rolls and inks as per requirement for each job
  • Communicating issues as they arise within the Printer or Team Leader when required
  • Continuous improvement and have a positive attitude towards implementing changes to improve Company performance
  • Housekeeping of the area
  • Carry out tasks and projects as assigned
  • Compliance with all HACCP standards

To be successful in this role you will ideally have or be:
  • The ability to read and write English
  • Sound mechanical knowledge to learn basic elements of a printing press.
  • Some lifting/ pulling/ pushing required
  • Agility required when bending and stretching to thread web through machine
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Good communication skills, particularly at change of shifts
  • Computer literacy required
